Mountain View, Calif. - February 2, 2000 - PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world’s leading professional services organization, and IntelliCorp [Nasdaq: INAI], a leading provider of eBusiness and CRM solutions for the SAP community, today announced a global alliance to help companies achieve rapid implementation of their SAP solution, based on PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Ascendant™SAP implementation method.
Ascendant SAP is PricewaterhouseCoopers’ robust and powerful implementation method, aligning people, process, knowledge and technology to complete projects sooner and attempt to lower cost to clients. PricewaterhouseCoopers will now offer clients IntelliCorp’s LiveModel™ SAP R/3 Edition and LiveCapture™ products, respectively, as part of Ascendant SAP.
LiveModel is a collaborative environment for describing, managing and transforming business processes while LiveCapture is a product used to consolidate and improve SAP projects after original implementation. PricewaterhouseCoopers’ global clients that are implementing SAP can use both these products. Both products will be part of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Ascendant methodology
"Our customers implementing SAP have need to standardize the business processes and operational methodologies associated with their SAP solution," said Chris Bennett, Global Leader of Methods and Tools, PricewaterhouseCoopers. "Offering our customers IntelliCorp’s products as some of the many tools we use in our Ascendant SAP method will help our clients to receive the full benefits and lower costs of their implementation."
By including LiveModel as part of their SAP implementation using Ascendant SAP, clients can understand and preview how various business changes or scenarios could impact R/3 without waiting for them to actually happen.
LiveCapture will be used by PricewaterhouseCoopers to assist in delivering efficient services to clients after original implementation by including activities such as multi-site roll-outs, R/3 consolidations and continuous business improvement.
"The use of LiveModel and LiveCapture will allow PricewaterhouseCoopers to compare their benchmark Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with actual data captured during R/3 operation," said Ken Haas, IntelliCorp CEO. "This will allow PricewaterhouseCoopers to help define the best possible path of continuous business improvement for each of their clients."
