Mountain View, Calif. - February 28, 2002 - IntelliCorp, Inc. [NASDAQ: INAI], a leading provider of business process optimization solutions, today announced a signed development services partnership agreement with EPAM to supplement IntelliCorp's internal software development resources. The partnership will help ensure that IntelliCorp's software solutions continue to meet goals of quality, reduced time-to-market, and customer need.
EPAM is an offshore development organization providing competitively priced strategic software and web development resources to global companies. They specialize in complex systems analysis, design, architecture, application development, software maintenance and testing, and strategic consulting. EPAM custom applications support businesses in more than thirty countries worldwide. Their main technology center is in Minsk, Belarus. Their US facility is located in Princeton, New Jersey.
Initially, EPAM will be contributing to the development of IntelliCorp's flagship Business Process Optimization suite, IC NetProcess. EPAM skills will also be utilized in a number of accelerated development projects and consulting engagements.
According to Chris Trueman, IntelliCorp VP Product Development, "We considered a number of factors when selecting our development partner: experience in building shrink-wrapped applications, commitment to quality, education and training, cultural fit, and accessibility. EPAM excelled in all categories."
Prior to the agreement with EPAM, IntelliCorp had been building its products with a highly distributed engineering and QA team across the US and Europe.
Mr. Trueman concluded, "I was personally impressed with the quality of their work with other software development organizations, and their high standards of education and training. By partnering with EPAM, we can ensure that we have the right resources to build solutions that meet our customers' expectations."
