Lisbon, Portugal - April 23, 2001 - IntelliCorp, Inc. [NASDAQ: INAI], a leading provider of eBusiness and CRM solutions for the SAP community, today announced the general availability LiveModel NetProcess 3.0, IntelliCorp’s proven Business Process Modeling infrastructure.
LiveModel NetProcess 3.0 marks the debut of IntelliCorp’s dedicated R/3Ô comparison technology known as LiveCompare. Complimenting LiveCapture, LiveCompare provides integrated technical support for R/3 audits, upgrades, and consolidations by enabling customers to investigate the impact of implementation differences between multiple R/3 systems.
With NetProcess 3.0, customers have the opportunity to combine the automated capture of business processes from one or more R/3 systems with the detailed technical analysis of their implementations. These life cycle activities are managed through the NetProcess web browser user interface.
Focus on Consolidation
During uncertain market conditions, companies are continuing to search for increased returns on their IT infrastructure investments. This can be accomplished through the consolidation of systems. This has two benefits: first, fewer systems leads to a reduction in the maintenance cost. Second, by promoting best business practices across the enterprise, organizations can experience an optimization of their value-added processes.
Features and Benefits
NetProcess, with LiveCapture and LiveCompare, reduces the cost, time, and complexity of audit, upgrade, and consolidation projects by:
- Automating the capture of common and unique business processes
- Enabling true two-way comparison of all R/3 transaction type implementations including ABAP Programs, Function Modules, Tables, Screens, GUI Statuses, and Includes
- Providing a single, browser-based user interface
- Utilizing standard Internet technology
- Minimizing software administration costs
According to Chris Trueman, Vice President Product Management, "NetProcess is all about supporting process-led change initiatives across the enterprise. On that foundation, we are able to deliver high-value, fully integrated, components to support the full range of life cycle activities."
