Mountain View, Calif. - May 22, 2002 - IntelliCorp, Inc. [OTCBB: INAI.OB], a leading provider of consulting services, business process oriented solutions and software focused on the SAP R/3 suite, today announced that IntelliCorp’s IC NetProcess software applications were highlighted in AMR’s Research Alert for the week of May 20th, 2002.
The article written by John Hagerty, Vice President, Enterprise Management Strategies Service for AMR Research states that, "IntelliCorp, the business process optimization vendor, has creatively deployed two of its software products, LiveCapture™ and LiveCompare™, in an effort to better support the SAP upgrade process by identifying which transactions are actually in use in a customer’s deployment of the enterprise application, and which transactions have changed between releases."
LiveCapture and LiveCompare dramatically reduce the time, cost and complexity of system maintenance by identifying points of deviation between two R/3 instances for immediate resolution and subsequent monitoring.
According to the AMR alert, "Using the LiveCapture product, IBM determined it was executing only 584 transactions out of 13,000 delivered. Conservatively, the IBM team expects savings of at least 50% on the testing phase of the project. This translates directly to a shorter upgrade (by nearly a month) and less expense for the entire project—good news in today’s tight budget world."
LiveCapture extracts business processes automatically from an existing R/3 system into a corporate knowledge repository. With a centralized repository for R/3 business processes, associated documentation and issues, and a means of tracking changes, LiveCapture enables organizations to control and manage R/3 upgrades cost-effectively.
Mr. Hagerty concluded the alert by saying, "For those migrating to any release of SAP R/3 or mySAP, these products are ones that every customer should evaluate."
