Berlin, Germany - May 23, 2000 - IntelliCorp, a leading provider
of eBusiness and CRM solutions for the SAP™ community, today announced
implementation services for pervasive computing solutions.
Enabling seamless front to back office interfaces for mobile sales, industrial computing and self-service applications, pervasive computing solutions are essential to extending the value of ERP systems. IntelliCorp’s new pervasive computing solutions will streamline communication between mobile operations and central office applications by improving the speed and accuracy of interactions with SAP™ R/3® solutions.
The new solutions utilize a variety of technologies including XML, WML and HTML to access R/3 over the Internet. The solution provides users the ability to access R/3 from virtually anywhere via PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants) and mobile computing devices.
According to Colin Bodell, IntelliCorp Executive Vice President, "We have already successfully implemented CRM Solutions for a number of Fortune 500 companies at the cutting edge of delivering improved customer services via eBusiness. However, by implementing pervasive computing capabilities, we can dramatically improve the access to SAP solutions by mobile staff giving our customers a significant competitive advantage."
IntelliCorp has successfully implemented SAP Customer Relationship Management™ (SAP CRM™) solutions at leading enterprises such as HP, Compaq, Steelcase, and Siemens. As a result, the company was chosen by SAP to further enhance and develop CRM offerings within mySAP.com™ solutions. Over the past two years, IntelliCorp has participated in the development of Diagram Explorer, Solution Map Composer, and the SAP Internet Pricing and Configurator.
IntelliCorp is now in the process of assisting SAP with the development of their pervasive computing applications. This knowledge will be incorporated into IntelliCorp’s pervasive computing eBusiness implementation methodology.
Mr. Bodell concluded, "Because we have proven our expertise in the SAP CRM arena and we are working with SAP to develop additional CRM and pervasive computing applications, going mobile is the natural next step for IntelliCorp’s CRM solutions."
