Santa Clara, Calif., June 6, 2005 - IntelliCorp, a worldwide provider of software tools for SAP lifecycle management and system support, today announced that DKSH, Asia's largest sourcing, marketing, logistics and distribution services group, is using NetProcess™ as part of its technology and business strategy to achieve regulatory compliance. NetProcess, IntelliCorp's SAP Certified Integration tool suite, is enabling DKSH to take an automated diagnostic approach to analyze ERP environments in its Malaysian Shared Services Center. DKSH will increase ERP system knowledge and efficiency, reducing the time, cost and risk associated with its SAP global template development and rollouts.

Netprocess Replaces Legacy Methods and Tools Instead of using traditional manual reporting and documentation with Microsoft tools (Visio, Word, PowerPoint), which were insufficient for a truly accurate, efficient assessment of SAP environments, DKSH selected NetProcess to objectively diagnose and manage its ERP system.
"SAP implementations at DKSH traditionally rely on legacy methods for documenting the business processes being implemented, which complicates the documentation needed to meet regulatory compliance," said Alandré van Vuuren, director of business development for Progress Pacific. We brought in NetProcess to properly define, document and communicate process flows throughout the consolidation and implementation of SAP."
SAP lifecycle events, such as change management, support packs and upgrades, were considered expensive high risk activities for DKSH, due to the inadequacies of traditional business process documentation tools. DKSH was searching for a toolset to help effectively use SAP and needed to find a way to maximize the value of its SAP investment.
"NetProcess will support DKSH to create an intelligent central repository to house business processes and link them across enterprise applications," said Mathias Greger, project manager of business process reengineering for DKSH. "LiveCapture, a module within the NetProcess suite, can automatically extract business processes from SAP and map them back to the business process models, which will allow DKSH to compare SAP instances and highlight the differences. That's invaluable to consolidations and future upgrades, and will also help throughout the project to manage scope and qualify the functionality DKSH will implement."
