Las Vegas, NV - June 14, 2000 - IntelliCorp, a leading provider
of eBusiness and CRM solutions for the SAP™ community, today announced
the Biz2e Implementation Methodology™ for implementing mySAP.com™
and R/3-centric CRM and eBusiness solutions. Combining people, processes,
and technology, the Biz2e Implementation Methodology enables companies
to manage interactions between customers, suppliers, and partners.
In today's competitive climate, companies must utilize both eBusiness channels and their R/3 investment to accelerate business, increase customer satisfaction and retention, and to differentiate from competitors. However, before this can be accomplished, companies must resolve obstacles such as the need to upgrade, consolidate, divest or outsource systems.
The Biz2e Implementation Methodology is the driving force behind IntelliCorp's S7 Solutions Portfolio™ which enables users to overcome key obstacles on the road to eBusiness success. The S7 Solutions Portfolio offered by IntelliCorp consists of solutions for: eBusiness Transformation, B2B Procurement, Internet Sales, Sales Force Automation, Sales Configuration, Upgrades, and Consolidations.
IntelliCorp's solution-oriented implementation methodology differs significantly from pure consulting firms due to the use of internally-developed tools and libraries, and their extensive knowledge of SAP R/3. IntelliCorp has co-developed a number of SAP's important CRM offerings including the SAP Internet Pricing and Configurator (IPC). Successful IPC implementations by IntelliCorp include: Steelcase (SFA Solution); Compaq (B2B Solution); and HP (B2C Internet sales configuration).
According to Greg Sulier, IntelliCorp Executive Vice President, ``IntelliCorp's methodology is based upon both technology and experience; the technology found in our own tools, and the experience of implementing the majority of SAP's pilot CRM implementations. No other company can offer this proposition.''
The Biz2e Implementation Methodology can be broken down into five discrete components: investigation, consolidation, implementation, integration and self-utilization.
Investigation
During the investigation phase, IntelliCorp's eBusiness Process Management (eBPM) solutions are used to extract exact blueprints of business processes in use within R/3. These blueprints are used as the foundation for decision-making regarding how eBusiness processes should be deployed between front and back-office systems. Accurate comparisons between existing processes and CRM best practices are conducted, providing a roadmap for the next steps.
Consolidation
At this step, all R/3 instances are reviewed and consolidation is conducted if appropriate. To streamline the process, IntelliCorp's Consolidation Solution is utilized. Consolidation rapidly identifies differences between R/3 instances. It also pinpoints inconsistencies between clients within any single R/3 Instance. This step dramatically reduces staff effort and costs and improves system performance.
Implementation
IntelliCorp standardized libraries (which reduce risk, as well as implementation and testing time) are utilized for the implementation of all S7 Solutions: eTransformation, B2B Procurement, Internet Sales, Sales Force Automation, Sales Configuration, Upgrades, and Consolidations.
Integration
Once solutions have been implemented, additional integration efforts may be necessary. To speed the integration process, IntelliCorp's R/3-centric application integration tool, LiveInterface, may be used to quickly write interfaces that have sophisticated management and monitoring capabilities and are cost-effective to maintain
Self-Utilization
Although most methodologies conclude with delivery and turnover, in practice an extended period of knowledge transfer, costly maintenance and/or outsourcing, and process/technology `refinement' usually follows delivery. IntelliCorp seeks to make each customer as self-sufficient as possible. Through the use of IntelliCorp's eBPM solutions and components such as LiveModel, companies can internally make and track changes and store business process decisions as a corporate knowledge asset. Allowing interaction with such knowledge repositories via the Internet or corporate Intranet improves the speed and accuracy of knowledge transfer and ongoing refinements. Other solutions and components accelerate turnover and reduce customer reliance on Intellicorp to maintain the newly implemented solutions.
Mr. Sulier concluded, "Our broad experience in deploying these solutions allows us to address all facets of deployment of eBusiness solutions. We have BPM solutions to resolve lifecycle obstacles and to optimize back office business processes for eCommerce. We couple this with our leadership in working with SAP, to provide solutions that really work.''
