Mountain View, Calif. - Aug. 20, 2001 - IntelliCorp, Inc.,
a leading provider of eBusiness and CRM solutions today announced
that one of the world's largest manufacturer and marketer of consumer
packaged goods has purchased NetProcess 4.0. This represents the
third major order for NetProcess 4.0 over the past three months.
NetProcess is the industry's first web-enabled infrastructure software for end-to-end business process capture, documentation, monitoring, analysis, control and optimization. It reduces cost, time and complexity for ongoing operations by enabling organizations to:
- Capture processes currently in-use
- Document processes as a business blueprint
- Monitor changes to processes over time
- Analyze existing business processes currently in use against corporate baselines and industry standards
- Control business processes through publication and collaboration via the Internet or corporate intranet
Specifically, the manufacturer will use NetProcess to roll out a global process template to operations in Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Pacific Rim based upon current business processes in use. This has enabled the manufacturer to duplicate their best business practices across their enterprise substantially improving their operational efficiencies.
According to George D'Auteuil, IntelliCorp VP Business Development, "With our prior announcements of agreements with Bell Canada and Compaq, organizations are definitely beginning to understand the value contained within their existing processes. Companies are now recognizing that substantial savings and operational efficiencies that can be obtained by standardizing processes across the entire enterprise."
Raymond Moreau, IntelliCorp CEO, added, "IntelliCorp's NetProcess provides the integrated set of tools that has been lacking in the business process management arena."
Mr. D'Auteuil concluded, "IntelliCorp is uniquely positioned to provide customers with the information and content required to help them understand, monitor and optimize their business cycles. Similar to others using NetProcess 4.0, we anticipate that this customer will see the ROI benefits within the first 6 months by focusing on aligning internal best practices."
The large six-figure contract was signed in June 2001, including product revenue recognized in the Company's fourth quarter, and services which will be provided to the customer during the Company’s fiscal first quarter.
